Build your team. Compete to win. Cheer on your friends. Experience the thrill of dragon boat racing - in the natural beauty of Saint Andrews.
The idyllic shores of Saint Andrews by-the-Sea are about to get a whole lot louder as we welcome the dragons to Katy's Cove for our annual dragon boat festival!

More than 200 participants will descend on Katy's Cove for a day of fun community races, food, drinks, and prizes. Teams are composed of 16 paddlers, plus a drummer, competing in races of 200 metres. They'll come from industries, small businesses, service clubs, groups of individuals, and more. No experience is necessary! Visit the Teams section for more info.

The festival grounds will be filled with local eats, drinks, and entertainment. Space is limited, so please park offsite at the Harry Mallory Sports Field. Shuttles will be available for service between the sports field and Katy's Cove. (shuttles provided by ECW)
TEAMS
Teams are mixed male/female
16 paddlers, 1 drummer
(Small teams can be populated by host members. Ask about availability.)
Registration deadline: August 31, 2023
Entry fee: $600 per team (sponsors welcome!)
Early bird pricing: $500 per team before July 31, 2023
Paddles and PFDs provided.
Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 2 races.
Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
Awards for best outfits, team name, etc.
Each team will have a section of the grounds. Bring a canopy, chairs, food, etc. to make your day more comfortable. Some picnic tables available.
Food and beverage vendors will be onsite.
First Aid onsite. (provided by Crabbe Mountain Ski Patrol)
The festival will be managed by 22Dragons, Canada's leading festival organizers.
